“When coaching, it is important to me that kids understand the “process.” The “process” not only consists of on field training such as drill and mechanical work, but also off the field items including diet, and weight training. In order to get the desired results on the field, it is imperative to understand how “little details” and seemingly tedious tasks matter in achieving our goals individually and as a team. Focusing on what you can control is the first step in understanding how all the work you put in manifests itself not only on the ball field, but in life as well. It is important to trust the “process” knowing that your work and attention to detail will pay off if you put in the appropriate time.” - Assistant Coach Chris Squires
